Class Actors Studio

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. About Class Actors Studio

Class Actors Studio (“Class”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides acting classes, workshops, masterclasses, intensives and other creative learning experiences for adults aged 18 and over.

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and bookings for our activities. Additional terms may apply to particular memberships, workshops or events. Membership participants must also complete and comply with the applicable Membership Agreement & Code of Conduct.

2. Applications and bookings

Submitting an application or enquiry does not guarantee a place. A booking is confirmed once we have accepted it and any required registration and payment arrangements have been completed.

Our classes and events may have limited capacity. Places are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline an application where reasonably necessary.

3. Membership and payments

Core, Weekender and Complete memberships operate on a block-by-block basis. Membership inclusions, block dates and fees will be confirmed at registration.

Membership is a commitment to the agreed programme over the relevant block, rather than the purchase of a guaranteed number of individual class sessions. The number of in-person sessions may vary between blocks, and scheduled sessions will be communicated to members in advance.

Payment may be made upfront or through four monthly instalments collected by Direct Debit, where available. The applicable fee and payment schedule will be confirmed before you commit.

Paying by instalments does not, by itself, remove your commitment to the agreed membership fee. If you experience difficulty making a payment, please contact us promptly to discuss the situation.

Further details are set out in the Membership Agreement & Code of Conduct.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Membership places are limited, and participants are encouraged to observe a class before joining.

By enrolling, you commit to the agreed membership block and fee. If you wish to withdraw after enrolling, any discretionary refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Where a replacement participant can be found for your place, we may consider offering a refund from the next billing cycle. Finding a replacement does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Where a replacement cannot be found, we are not obliged to offer a discretionary refund.

Missed classes are not refundable, and make-up sessions are not available.

For workshops, masterclasses and other standalone events, any specific cancellation terms will be provided at booking.

If we cancel a session or make a material change to a programme, we will communicate this to affected participants and consider appropriate refunds or alternative arrangements in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to your booking.

5. Changes to programmes and events

We aim to deliver activities as advertised. Occasionally, changes to dates, venues, facilitators or other arrangements may be necessary.

If a significant change occurs, we will inform affected participants and explain any appropriate options. Where we cannot provide a service you have paid for, we will address the situation in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

6. Conduct and safeguarding

Class aims to provide a respectful, inclusive and collaborative environment in which actors can explore their work, take creative risks and learn together.

Participants are expected to respect others' boundaries, obtain consent before physical contact, maintain appropriate confidentiality and follow our Code of Conduct and safeguarding requirements.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive behaviour and deliberate disruption are not tolerated.

Breaches may result in a warning, removal from a session, suspension or exclusion from Class, depending on the circumstances. Decisions about fees, refunds or outstanding payments will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and legal rights.

The full requirements are set out in the Membership Agreement & Code of Conduct.

7. Photography and video

Photography and video consent is optional and separate from membership. Where we seek consent to use identifiable images or recordings of participants, we will request it separately. Declining consent will not affect your ability to join or participate in Class.

You may contact us to withdraw consent for future use. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law and explain what action can reasonably be taken. Withdrawal does not automatically make earlier lawful use unlawful.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information and media are handled.

8. Intellectual property and confidentiality

Website content, branding, teaching materials and resources supplied by Class remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise stated. They must not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission.

Participants must respect the creative work, scripts, personal disclosures and other confidential material shared by fellow participants. Do not record, photograph or share another participant's work or personal information without appropriate permission.

Confidentiality may need to be limited where disclosure is necessary to address a safeguarding concern, comply with the law or protect someone from harm.

9. Safety and participation

Participants are expected to act responsibly, respect the boundaries of others and follow reasonable instructions intended to maintain a safe working environment.

Please tell us about relevant access requirements or practical considerations that may affect your participation so that we can discuss appropriate arrangements.

We take reasonable steps to support a safe environment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not permit such exclusion or limitation.

10. Website information

We aim to keep our website accurate and up to date. Details of activities, prices, dates and availability may change.

Website information is provided for general guidance and does not guarantee a place on a class or event. The specific details confirmed at booking will apply, subject to these terms and your statutory rights.

11. Privacy and personal information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, manage applications and bookings, administer memberships and communicate with participants.

Please read our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect, use, store and share personal information, including information about our service providers and your data protection rights.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will be published on our website with its latest update date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you already have. Where a change materially affects an existing booking or membership, we will communicate with affected participants as appropriate.

13. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions, memberships or bookings, please get in touch via our Contact Form.

14. Legal rights

These Terms & Conditions are subject to applicable UK law and mandatory consumer protections.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
